Story Perspective

In this novel, The Wanderer, the story is told from two different perspectives or viewpoints. I want to give you a few questions to answer about story perspective.

• Preview the book carefully. Who are the two main characters?
• This past week you read chapters 1-4. These chapters are told from one character's perspective. Do you know whose perspective these chapters are told from? How can you tell?
• Why would an author choose to write a story using more than one character's perspective or viewpoint?

Try to post your answer/comment by this Friday, December 19th. We will meet on Friday to discuss your comments and at that time we will choose how far to read ahead in the story. I will post another assignment for you to work on over break.

I will try to post an assignment for you each week. You can provide your post at any time, so long as you complete it by the due date I give you. Feel free to use any computer you would like.
