- Preview the book carefully. Who are the two main characters?
- This past week you read chapters 1-4. These chapters are told from one character's perspective. Do you know whose perspective these chapters are told from? How can you tell?
- Why would an author choose to write a story using more than one character's perspective or viewpoint?
Try to post your answer/comment by this Friday, December 19th. We will meet on Friday to discuss your comments and at that time we will choose how far to read ahead in the story. I will post another assignment for you to work on over break.
Happy Reading! Mrs. Sims

The two main charters are Cody and Sophie. In the chapters we read were told by Sophie's perspective. I noticed when I was looking over the book that at the beging of each chapter and at the top of each page in a little box says CODY or SOPHIE. In those chapters it said SOPHIE. I think an athor would wright a story from two perspectives becuase it might help you under stand the story better. Your reading in this case what the trip is like to diffrent people. Veronica
ReplyDeleteThe two main characters are Sophie and cody. The chapters were told by Sophies perspective.I can tell because on the pages in a box it says in funny letters Sophie. An author would write a story from two perspectives so you couuld understand the characters viewpoints and the rest of the story more.Amaris
ReplyDeleteI think Sophie and Cody are the main characters. The chapters 1-4 are told by Sophie's perspective. If you flip through the book there are boxes by each chapter that say Cody or Sophie. I think an author would write a story from two characters' perspectives because it's interesting to hear two sides of a story or trip.
